Our Team
Manish Agarwal, President
Manish is a seasoned security professional with 25 years of experience in the industry. Formerly he was part of the management team at another local security organization, which helped him recognize that there was a better way to do things. Manish is proud to boast that he was born and raised in Thunder Bay and holds an honours degree in Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations from Lakehead University. His education and experience allow him to better understand and navigate the unique challenges faced by our region.
Laurie Fossum, Field Supervisor
Laurie is a security professional with over 38 years of experience in various fields of security, including personal protection, entertainment industry, CCTV, surveillance, non-violent crisis intervention, and security management. Holds five provincial licenses and is certified in GPA and Labour Disputes and Disaster Response.
Stephen Johnston, Health and Safety Officer
Stephen Johnston has been an integral part of the company since its inception. With his extensive background in security and mental health services, he has been an asset to the team. He is a key member and a lead on community event projects.

When organizing a special event, taking into consideration the safety of your staff, volunteers and guests is a priority. REP Security provides security coverage for events of all sizes and types and have the experience and skills necessary to ensure the success of your event. We have been fortunate enough to be a part of essentially all high-profile events held in the Thunder Bay region, including Thunder Bay Community Auditorium shows, the Bluesfest, the Brew-Ha, Wake the Giant, Country on the Bay, U18 World Baseball Tournament, as well as all City of Thunder Bay events. We have also provided security services for hundreds of other conferences and benefits, as well as sporting events including the LU Thunderwolves, TB Bordercats and all SSSAA meets.
As a beer-centric event business, we need to hire security that is ready to take on any challenge that comes their way. We have experienced nothing but success in all of our years dealing with Manish and his team at REP Security, professional, efficient and courteous only begin to describe the REP team. We do not even bother looking elsewhere for our security needs.
At the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium, we require a security team that is prepared for any challenge that comes their way. From Artist security requirements to event and parking lot security, or anything in between, REP Security always provides a team of professional security personnel, that allows us to focus on our business, knowing that they have our security needs completely covered. I can’t imagine presenting the large number of shows and events that we do each year without the support of REP Security.
