REP Security Inc was established in 2013 with the aim of transforming the security industry. Our unwavering commitment to customer service excellence has propelled us to become a leading security provider in the Northwestern Ontario region. Based out of Thunder Bay, we are proud to be a 100% locally owned and operated company. Our extensive service area spans from the Manitoba Border to Wawa, covering the entirety of this important region. Our Team

Manish Agarwal, President

Manish is a seasoned security professional with 25 years of experience in the industry. Formerly he was part of the management team at another local security organization, which helped him recognize that there was a better way to do things. Manish is proud to boast that he was born and raised in Thunder Bay and holds an honours degree in Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations from Lakehead University. His education and experience allow him to better understand and navigate the unique challenges faced by our region.

Julia Bragnalo, Business Manager

Julia moved to Thunder Bay when she was young and has called this home ever since. She’s a proud graduate of Confederation College, where she earned diplomas in Business Administration and Business Accounting, laying the groundwork for a well-rounded and exciting career. Over the years, Julia has worked in financial planning, transportation and the industrial sectors, bringing valuable experience and insights to every role she takes on. Her passion for business and drive for excellence have made her a trusted professional and a strong leader in her field. Outside of work, Julia is dedicated to giving back to the community she loves. As a board member of Our Kids Count, she works to support a local organization that promotes health and well-being for families and individuals across Thunder Bay. Julia’s mix of professional expertise and genuine care for her community makes her a standout leader and an inspiring presence in Thunder Bay’s business world.

Ashley Johnson, Operations Manager

Ashley took her first steps into the security industry while attending Confederation College for her Social Work diploma, during which she began working as a Security Guard. Ashley also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was then recruited as the first employee of the newly formed REP Security Inc. Ashley’s determination and extensive knowledge in the industry, enabled her to quickly rise through the ranks and become a supervisor and later a manager. However never satisfied and always ambitious, she partnered then with REP Security to create a new female and Indigenous owned company, REP Giwaydin Security Inc. Ashley currently resides in Thunder Bay, she grew up in Caramat, ON but her heritage can be traced back to Pic River Biigtigong Nishnaabeg Ojibway, First Nation, on the northern shore of Lake Superior.

Laurie Fossum, Field Supervisor

Laurie is a security professional with over 38 years of experience in various fields of security, including personal protection, entertainment industry, CCTV, surveillance, non-violent crisis intervention, and security management. Holds five provincial licenses and is certified in GPA and Labour Disputes and Disaster Response.

Stephen Johnston, Health and Safety Officer

Stephen Johnston has been an integral part of the company since its inception. With his extensive background in security and mental health services, he has been an asset to the team. He is a key member and a lead on community event projects.

Uniformed Security

Our uniformed security guards provide a professional, visible presence to protect staff, visitors, and assets, acting as the first line of defence while deterring theft, vandalism, and violence. We tailor our services to meet the unique needs of your business, community, or project.

Site Set-up & Shutdown Security

We provide comprehensive security for project sites, protecting against unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or damage during start-up and wrap-up phases. Our mining and construction site services include

Our Patrol Services provide structured, professional security coverage for mining sites, construction projects, and community environments. 24/7 Mobile Patrols & Foot Patrols– scheduled or randomized patrols to monitor perimeters, secure access points, oversee work zones, detect unauthorized activity, and maintain detailed site report
Site Integrity Checks– verifying equipment, materials, and facilities are secure and operations
Community Engagement & Presence– maintaining a visible, respectful security presence to support safety and confidence within local and First Nations communities
